Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition developer grabs Dave Gross as lead writer
by Andrew Whipple III at 7:30 pm on Thursday, 26 April 2012

Just after adding Nat Jones to their roster, Overhaul Games has just announced Dave Gross will jump on as the lead writer for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition.

Having writing experience as an editor for Polyhedron Newszine and several Dungeons & Dragons magazines, Mr. Gross also has a couple of published books in the Forgotten Realms universe; those novels being Black Wolf and Lord of Stormweather. He also recently published Prince of Wolves and Master of Devils for Pathfinder Tales and co-authored Winter Witch.

Dave had this to say about his recent move to Overhaul Games:

I was sitting in a coffee shop complaining about the lack of classic RPGs for the iPad when Trent appeared in a sulphurous cloud and said, ‘Have I got a job for you.'

Adding more talent, especially people who can write, to the team working on my beloved Baldur's Gate is fine by me.

Oh, and you can follow this dude on his Twitter. Who knows? Maybe he'll let us all in on what new stories he plans to weave. One can hope.
